Abstract:

Educational Technology has transformed drastically after the COVID-19. Studies have demonstrated that technology improves student engagement and learning but selecting the right tool can be challenging for educators. This 25-minute live presentation will introduce the Technology Integration Matrix (TIM), developed by the University of South Florida and the Florida Department of Education. This matrix has been widely accepted and utilized as a valid method for measuring technology integration in the classroom. The presentation will cover the levels of technology integration and the characteristics of learning environments to help educators discover new levels of technology integration that will be applicable in their classrooms. The audience will have the opportunity to participate by providing input in the Chat, and the presenter will provide an opportunity for Q&A at the end of the presentation.
