Practices for Public Relations Effectiveness in Education and Social Justice Within and Across Borders

Public Relations (PR) effectiveness depends on planning. Good planning is the best way to practice preventive rather than remedial PR. Tactical and strategic plans help Public Relations coordinate its efforts with those of other areas of the organization. (Baskin, et all, 1997, p.129). This study focus on practices of PR in FISIP UB for education and social justice programs within and across borders. Indonesia having 34 provinces with different cultures, languages, ethnics, and religions. The implementation of education programs for support Indonesian Government policy, especially to build social justice. It is become significant because chapter 5 of Pancasila (as Indonesian Country Basic) notifies social justice for all Indonesian citizens. Method of this study use qualitative research. Data collection technique by using interview and observation. Data analysis technique using domain and taxonomy analysis.Result of this study, (1) The practices for PR effectiveness in Indonesian education are stressed on social justice. It means that all Indonesia citizens can access our website to enroll our faculty. There is no discrimination for them. FISIP UB divides student admission through national selection and selection of disability students; (2) to implement FISIP UB to be word class faculty is shown by 15 cooperation with overseas institution from developed and developing country. Every stakeholders having same opportunities to feel International education environment. Developing PR practice can started from Management by Objectives as management plans, then campaign, and predict project budgets. FISIP UB distribute advertising through website, brochure, and poster.
