Title: Impact of Globalization on the English Language Teaching Among EFL Learners

The current research aims to investigate the impact of globalization on the importance of English language learning and teaching. As such, the main questions that set the study are 1) Is the Internet helping in the globalization of the English language and its domination on the World Wide Web?. 2) Has globalization changed the relative importance of English language learning and teaching compared to before globalization?. 3) What effect has globalization had on the real development of the English language?. To answer these questions, the researcher conducted a study with 398 EFL students from the department of English Language, Najran University. Data were collected through a questionnaire. The results demonstrated that English is used as a tool to communicate across the globalized world, and that knowledge of English provides individuals with additional educational opportunities.
